This team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting leaders and their teams through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences throughout the buyer journey.

Job Brief:

Our Experiential Marketing team is tasked with delivering programs that help convert prospects into clients by bringing the full Gartner value proposition to life through immersive experiences. We are looking for a Manager to lead all communications for Experiential Marketing, partnering closely with Corporate Communications and other Team NCVI partners across the business to drive impactful communications both internally (focused on Sales) and externally (for highest quality prospects). The focus of this role is Invitational Programs in which we provide prospects with an exclusive, curated experience to help Sales close qualified prospects at a Gartner Conference.  This Manager will have the opportunity to not only leads communications for this program but also to serve as Program Manager for Invitational Programs for select conferences to own driving growth partnering with Sales. The Manager, Experiential Marketing is ahighlyh collaborative, business-savvy professional who has solid experience building and leading programs and communications focused on ensuring sales productivity and/orr prospect conversion.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and develop a small team of communication specialists. Build an agile, highly productive, and engaged team, nurturing and developing talent through strong and actively engaged leadership.
  • Build comprehensive internal communications programs to educate Sales and other partners on the features, benefits, and key messages of Experiential Marketing programs.
  • Deliver the right information at the right time to the right audience, to drive best practice and highest possible win rates from Experiential Marketing programs.
  • Build powerful external communications, as well as templates customizable by Sales, to educate prospects on the benefits of invitational programs, clearly demonstrate the exclusive value of participation and Gartner thought leadership and value that is included, and make it as easy as possible to register.
  • Create communication tools that can be leveraged by the global team of Experiential Marketing program managers on a daily basis when working with Sales and other partners across the business for presentations, training, etc.
  • Build and demonstrate a deep understanding of target audiences (sales and prospects), Experiential Marketing program details and best practices, and Gartner products and value proposition.
  • Ensure smooth processes to plan, produce, QA, and release communications in partnership with Corporate Communications, Conferences Sales Enablement, Creative Center of Excellence, and others across the business.
  • Build and effectively manage communications roadmaps and setback schedules, particularly tied to conferences.
  • Drive measurement and continual improvement of communications assets and programs (e.g., Inside Gartner page views, asset opens, Sales, and partner feedback).
  • Opportunity to leverage program management skills to lead Invitational Programs at select conferences, partnering with Sales and Conferences to drive growth.

What You'll Need:

  • 5-7 years of marketing and communications experience
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • A track record of excellent performance meeting targets and objectives
  • Strong collaboration skills and a history of leading programs including executive/leadership updates, data-driven reporting, and prospect/client communications
  • Understanding of Gartner Sales Process and Methodology to ensure alignment of messaging, framing content, and timing.  
  • Experience executing multiple highly complex and/or strategic marketing campaigns and activities
  • Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously is required
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and design appropriate solutions
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to tailor communication to audience to achieve desired results
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills, event planning, and organization skills
