Director, Business Analytics


What you will do: 

  • Leads Research Engagement Services (RES) Business Analytics function, providing critical leadership, subject matter expertise and support for key programs and stated priorities 

  • Works independently with leadership team and cross-business unit leaders, owning planning, development and execution of operational reporting and business performance programs, including data collection, visualization & analysis, and quantitative models 

  • Responsible for design and management of operational dashboards and reporting tools 

  • Proactively lead data analysis to uncover new insights for improvement of the client interaction scheduling process; presenting recommendations to enhance the client scheduling experience 

  • Utilize an advanced understanding of multiple data structures, sources, and tools to guide business partners in the development of analytics to support the RES business, which may include data visualization, business intelligence, or data collection 

  • Enhance our capability to analyze and make sense of large sets of data and translate findings in a visually appealing manner that tells a story and drives decision making 

  • Primary point of contact with data science and analysis teams across business units, collaborating to seek and learn new ways to solve problems 

What you will need: 

  • 10+ years working experience in a business or data analytics role, prior data warehousing environment experience a plus 

  • Exceptional quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills resulting in developing clear and actionable business strategies 

  • Knowledge and experience in data visualization, data modeling 

  • Familiarity with TSQL, Power BI, and other data and analytics technologies 

  • Familiarity with reporting/analytics or similar CRM platforms 

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to all level of audiences 

  • Excellent time management, organizational, and collaborative skills
