Director, Change Management


About Global Sales Strategy & Operations:

Global Sales, Strategy, & Operations encompasses Sales Technology, Process, Analytics, and other core functions to support driving experience and productivity across Gartner’s global sales teams. The Change Management function determines the people impacts of GSSO-driven initiatives and develops strategies for successful change implementations for over 5,000 sales associates.

Role Purpose:

Reporting to the Sr Director, Change Management, the Director, Change Mgmt & Ops will play a critical role in spearheading change management strategy for critical technology and process programs including the global CRM transformation.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead change management strategy and development for our global CRM transformation

  • Partner across all GSSO functions on large and small-scale initiatives to understand potential change impacts and advise on change strategies  

  • Manage execution of change initiatives and oversee change management workstreams

  • Drive change management efforts for technology and process changes coming from GSSO and other sales partners by overseeing the build of effective communications and training collateral

  • Tailor and oversee the creation of communications and collateral including but not limited to email announcements, newsletters, training guides, microvideos, and intranet pages

  • Collaborate closely with Sales leaders and business partners to understand Sales’ current and future state processes and workflows to create more effective change materials

  • Drive change channels including advisory networks and focus groups

  • Advocate for the sales experience across all change management decisions and channels

  • Facilitate live kickoffs related to tech or process programs as needed

What you’ll need:

  • 10-15 years’ experience in learning, communications, or sales role

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; can clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences

  • Strong collaborator and business partner

  • Expert in Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Intellectual curiosity and creativity

  • Proficient project and program management skills
