Conference Manager, Sales & Service Enablement

This role will be responsible for supporting the Global Conferences partnership with Sales and Services and Delivery teams at a regional level. You will execute sales and service delivery enablement campaigns and communications to ensure Conference opportunities are effectively utilized by Sales and Services and Delivery.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute processes and plans to support timely and relevant sharing of information with sales and service associates as they are often the first point of contact for client/prospect questions regarding conference

  • Create clear and direct understanding of conference timelines, goals and key details in order to own and drive best practices leading to attendance (building agendas, booking 1:1s, etc.)

  • Identify and pilot the most effective communication forms for internal conference campaigns and information sharing

  • Partner with Sales Operations & Sales Communications to drive effective, consistent and impactful ways to support associate adoption of conference tools and best practices - including the creation of best practice playbooks for associates

  • Build relationships with leaders and key contacts across Sales and Service orgs to understand how Gartner Conferences can help drive engagement with clients and prospects 

  • Support tracking and execution of regional conference briefings, leader prep calls and any enablement cadences that arise (How To series, open forum Q&A calls, etc.) including project management of deck builds

  • Review and edit sales/services owned playbooks and other conference-aligned resources to ensure correct information/timelines/calls to action and ensure all conference-wide details are represented

  • Create streamlined, scalable processes and tools to share with leaders when new initiatives are launched across conferences 

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, tool enhancements and develop innovative solutions that drive efficiency within Gartner Conferences and across Sales/Service teams

  • Key stakeholders include all teams in Global Conferences, GTS/GBS Sales & Sales Operations, Services and Delivery, Corporate Communications and Corporate Marketing. Primary external relationships are directly with conference attendees  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5-7 years business experience

  • Proficiency in executing cross-functional initiatives

  • Strong executive presence

  • Strategic leader, with excellent implementation results

  • High sense of urgency, ability to work at a fast pace

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to build and leverage relationships

  • Strong project management skills, including deadline management

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate, collaborate & motivate

  • Exceptional problem-solving capability

  • Client focused

  • Fully competent in Microsoft office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Passionate, energetic & enthusiastic

  • Solution oriented strategic thinker - self-motivated & collaborative

  • Curious and inquisitive

  • Event Planning experience not needed

  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally
