We’re looking for a Director, New Product Development with a strong strategy, product development, and analytics background, to support the advancement of our existing, and entry into new, monetization models. What you will do:

  • Collect and define monetization ideas from internal and external (e.g., competitive and analog research, vendor interviews, etc.) sources

  • Estimate and validate the potential financial impact of monetization opportunities through market size estimation and forecasting (considering adoption, cannibalization of existing revenue models, etc.)

  • Develop product pricing strategies and offering concept testing approaches

  • Socialize ideas and gain consensus among senior management

  • Employ decision making frameworks to prioritize opportunities, present findings to the senior leadership team, and facilitate alignment


Go-to-market

  • Collaborate closely with Product Manager(s) to implement new models/products

  • Define success metrics and facilitate the development of mechanisms to track and leverage them

  • Develop and coordinate go-to-market strategies for new monetization models/products across product, marketing, and sales teams

 

What you will need:

  • 7+ years of combined experience in a management consulting and/or new product development and management roles

  • 2+ year of experience working at digital company and/or in digital marketing

  • Familiarity with online advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads)

  • Track record of success in expanding existing and/or introducing new monetization models/products

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Experience working with senior-level executives

 

Skills/Competencies

  • Track record of leading product ideation and development 

  • Ability to test concepts through fact-finding and data-driven decision making

  • Experience with market definition and evaluation strategies

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in market sizing and financial modeling

  • Knowledge of digital auction models (Google Ads, etc.) highly preferred

  • Experience with or exposure to managing software development projects and/or software product releases

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team skills
