About this role:
The ideal candidate for the Database Marketing Manager role will have 3 – 5 years of experience in Eloqua automation tool. The role requires knowledge of audience acquisition, marketing automation, list segmentation, and analytics to identify the right prospective attendees for the right conferences at the right time.
To be successful one would need a blend of proficiencies working with tools such as Eloqua for list segmentation, SQL and Excel to manipulate and analyze data, and Power BI to present and automate analyses.
What you will do:

Serve as primary team contact for conference-specific prospect data segmentation, marketing list generation and data analysis across multiple verticals and for internal stakeholders

Drive commercial results using data to advise stakeholders on strategies for maximizing audience acquisition

Monitor and track efficacy of campaign efforts, providing insight and recommendations

Develop data analysis via Power BI to effectively translate data into insights and business strategies

Develop testing strategies to identify opportunities for further audience acquisition growth

Use Eloqua to perform marketing audience segmentation

Follow with established privacy laws (e.g., CASL, GDPR) when building marketing lists

Independently write presentations for internal database team meetings and contribute to external team written presentations
What you will need:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

Intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to grasp technical concepts quickly

At least 3 years of commercial experience with an understanding of data segmentation, email marketing, marketing campaign analysis and relational databases, while -

Using web analytics tools to draw insights, make comparisons, and identify trends across channels and campaigns is preferred

Working with Eloqua

Reporting and developing dashboards that effectively translate data into insights and business strategies using Power BI or similar tool (e.g., Domo, Tableau, Alteryx)

Manipulating data in SQL including joins, aggregating data is a plus

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across geographies at different levels in the organization
