About this role:

As a Sr Program Manager, you will be driving management and execution of research programs through your skills and expertise. We are looking for someone who has strong program management discipline and expertise in the data science field is a plus! You will be crucial in the achievement of business objectives and goals for the PMO analytics portfolio including data science programs by managing, implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of research programs.

What you will do:

  • Responsibility for all phases of the program that include issue identification, resolution, executive reporting and managing stakeholder relationships to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Ensure risks are identified and mitigated and leveraging your technical experience, to pose and proactively ask the questions no one is asking to ensure program blind spots are addressed.
  • Establish a regular cadence for conducting meetings, providing updates on program status, developing project plans, researching and fact-finding and negotiating with program stakeholders.
  • When appropriate, you will identify and escalate issues, obstacles and risks to executive sponsors, senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Who you are:

  • 5 - 7 years of experience working directly with development teams.
  • 5 - 7 years of technical program management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or technical related discipline.
  • Mastery of the ability to manage complex situations, delegate authority, drive innovative thinking, instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic situations.
  • Proven experience and skills in team building, time management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, strategic thinking and literacy in program management disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience in data science, AI applied research and machine learning.
  • Education or work experience related to machine learning algorithms and their deployment.
  • Understanding with application tools and data architectures.
  • Proficient in technical requirements gathering and developing user stories.
