Data Insights is a product suite that leverages GDM data to advance software vendor’s sales and marketing practices and performance

What we’re looking for:  

Data Insights is looking for an Associate Product Manager to lead the advancement of one of our offerings – Competitive Comparisons - and to contribute to the operations and product management of the Data Insights suite at large. This role sits within an entrepreneurial and fast-paced team and provides significant opportunities for professional growth.

Why you’ll want to come to work:

  • Develop a robust understanding of the content marketing needs of software and software service providers through research and vendor interviews

  • Keep apprised of competitors’ content marketing offerings – their pros and cons – and benchmark competitive offerings against GDM’s

  • Convert research and findings into a vision and roadmap for advancing Competitive Comparisons and/or new content-based offering for vendors

  • Translate vision into designs, by working with our UX team, and stories and tasks for Engineering

  • Conduct scrum ceremonies in collaboration with Engineering

  • Manage user acceptance testing

  • Partner with GDM marketing and sales to facilitate go to market coordination

  • Grow our business through increased sales and improved retention

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 2+ years of experience in product development

  • 2+ years of managing software development projects and development teams

  • Experience building data-driven, analytic-based products

  • Proven commercial success with a product you contributed

Technical/ Professional Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of marketing and sales objectives, KPIs, and processes

  • Demonstrable track record of competitive and market analysis

  • Proven track record of converting market needs into actionable requirements

  • Ability to define, prioritize, and maintain a product roadmap

  • Experience coordinating and running scrum teams; knowledge of agile methodologies

  • Experience bringing technologies to market including completely new products, new features, and feature enhancements

  • Data-driven mindset and technical acumen, e.g., experience with relational database querying languages

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team skills
