About this role:
We are looking for a creative, customer-obsessed, analytical business leader with a passion to guide a new team within the Research and Advisory (R&A) business unit’s Content and Research Excellence organization. You’ll work with cross-functional groups to incorporate successful strategies to understand client interests, and work on new ways to gather direct client feedback. The successful candidate will be someone who has demonstrated experience in translating between data and business problems, and has skills to work across all levels of the organization.
What you will do:
Partner with the VP of client topic sensing to build and maintain set of best practices for understanding client needs as a part of the content coverage and planning processes
Run additional custom 1-off analysis of data, help synthesize data to help derive actionable insights
Lead client research communities to provide feedback on content and topic coverage
Present findings / results / project interim progress and deliverables, answer questions and prepare regular reports for senior leadership
Be the subject matter expert on various tools to provide help answer senior stakeholder questions
Apply an agile, product management approach to help enhance the metric and associated reporting capabilities - leverage tools and data sets from across Gartner
Work closely with teams that build and enhance tools
Who you are:
5-7 years in marketing, economics or product management with high-data literacy, client empathy and business acumen.
Master's degree in "STEM" field, Business Analytics, Marketing, Finance, or Economics a plus.
Demonstrated ability to use advanced quantitative and qualitative techniques to understand and drive client needs.
Understanding of subscription-based business economics a requirement; experience with business information services strongly preferred.
Excellent project management and verbal and written communication, especially in the context of managing processes and delivering technical analysis across diverse stakeholders to generate enterprise-level insights and strategies.
Demonstrates spirit, energy and enthusiasm, great interpersonal skills, ability to influence without authority and a high-tolerance ambiguity.
