Sr. Conference Planner, Registration Technology

Role Purpose

The role of Sr. Conference Planner will support the Registration team by delivering registration experiences across all conferences to make it easy and intuitive for our clients and associates. Ensure first class execution, forward thinking and product development are applied constantly by the Registration team to aid client retention and business growth while still delivering a globally consistent and world class level of service.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support registration site creation for 35+ destination conferences annually.

  • Ensure registration sites are set up with accurate conference details (pricing, logistics, email communications), tested and maintained to deliver a flawless registration and overall attendee experience.

  • Enhance quality assurance processes to ensure seamless and efficient registration experience.

  • Collect information from various stakeholders and update internal documents to successfully launch registration and other registration technology related deliverables.

  • Maintain internal documents as adjustments to conference details arise.

  • Serve as main registration technology point of contact for conferences identified by manager. Make necessary adjustments to the registration experience throughout the lifecycle of each conference.

  • Partner with global registration team and vendors on day-to-day operations as well as future initiatives.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand various priorities that will enhance registration to drive overall efficiencies and attendee experience.

  • Assist with the creation of registration technology related documentation and training materials for internal teams.

  • Travel to conferences and provide on-site registration support as needed and determined by manager.

  • Own special projects focusing on improving team execution and scalability.

Professional Experience Requirements

  • 2-4 years of project management experience and/or events experience

  • Simultaneously manages multiple tasks and prioritization of workload

  • Strong record of achievement in current position

  • Experience with Event Management Software (RainFocus, CVENT etc.) preferred

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to successfully facilitate and collaborate across multiple functions, departments, and leadership levels

  • Team player and growth mindset

  • Intellectually curious, solutions oriented, willingness to learn

  • Strong business analysis and project management skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and written

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills needed

  • Understanding and appreciation of technology

  • Smartsheet and G Suite experience preferred

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
