What you’ll do:  

  • Responsible for preparation of federal and consolidated provision inclusive of collaborating with wider tax team, calculating ETR, SOX, and C-Suite deliverables.
  • Prepare federal tax return, extension and estimate calculations
  • Assist with tax portion of external reporting (10Q and 10K) and technical research related to tax accounting principles.
  • Support team in all aspects of the function including project management, idea generation, process improvements and implementation.
  • Assist with selected projects, implement process improvements, and leverage technology

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field required. CPA or master’s degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of related experience, public accounting background strongly preferred
  • General working knowledge of domestic taxation principles and ASC 740 concepts
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information

Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel/Office. Familiarity with Corptax (or similar tax software), Alteryx, Power BI, SharePoint, etc. preferred
