Title: Travel & Expense Specialist

About this role:

Responsible for supporting the administration of Gartner’s global corporate credit card program and expense reimbursement process.

What you’ll do: 

  • Good understanding of Gartner’s corporate card and expense program, interdependencies, processes, and policies
  • Provide daily support to associates for card/expense program inquiries, providing policy and process education
  • Process global corporate card applications
  • Navigate complex inquiries and situations by leveraging T&E knowledge and resources
  • Basic understanding of available reporting and ability to run and analyze the data to address associate inquiries and T&E program as required
  • Work with third party providers and internal partners on resolution efforts with minimal support
  • Proactively identify and support real-time issues and trends as well as continuous improvement initiatives for Gartner’s T&E program and corporate strategies
  • Ensure reference documentation and internal documents are current and updated
  • Assist in any global consistency and program expansion projects

What you’ll need:

  • 1-3 years of experience working in travel & expense, finance or similar business function.  Familiarity with basic accounting procedures or ERP systems.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Must have a strong can-do, no limits, winner mindset
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take direction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate with a diverse audience at various levels while considering cultural differences
  • Excellent customer service and listening skills
  • Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects in a proactive manner
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment while meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
