Business Development Manager – European Midsize Enterprise
Gartner's European Midsize Enterprise sales channel represents our fastest growing business unit globally and we are looking to hire top sales executives into the German market.
What you’ll do:
Engage and build relationships with senior executives within organizations to advise them on how our research can assist them with their mission-critical priorities.
Be responsible for a combination of new business development and managing existing accounts across a defined territory and have full ownership of an end-to-end sales cycle.
Consistently exceed your sales quota by growing, retaining and prospecting clients within your sales territory.
Ensure contract value retention as well as growth through contract expansion by introducing new products and services.
Act as a strategic partner with C-level and senior executives across various organizations within an assigned territory of mid-sized organizations.
Keep clients engaged by working alongside stakeholders to ensure they can meet their key business objectives.
Collaborate with other sales associates to continue the development of best practice and new prospecting techniques.
What you’ll need:
Have between 1-6 years of sales experience with a strong track record of success, preferably in consultative, senior-level B2B sales or similar
Business fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
A high level of commercial intellect, executive presence and sales acumen.
Competitive drive with a collaborative approach. You aspire to be the best and inspires those around you. You challenge yourself by setting goals, crushing them, and helping your teammates do the same.
Experience selling IT, staffing/recruiting or professional services solutions highly preferred.
