About Role :

Gartner Consulting is looking for a Director to lead global engagements and help grow our Digital Business Growth & Transformation Practice Capabilities. The Director will perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of complex market data sets, primary research and competitive landscapes. The Director will work closely with on-shore/off-shore associates to develop training, IP, and assets

What you’ll do: 

Our Consulting Directors are responsible for high-level project delivery and oversight along with client relationship management. You will manage teams and advise clients at the highest strategic level on both big-picture and tactical matters, focusing on how technology enables a wide range of business outcomes. In addition, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our asset-based methodologies.

What you’ll need:

Digital Business Growth & Transformation Practice Capabilities

  • Familiarity with major technology categories, for example: communications & networking, Cloud, IT Services / outsourcing, software, edge computing, data and analytics
  • Experience discerning key trends and drivers for sustained market growth
  • Experience developing market opportunity forecasts including the design, assumption development, data collection and transformation across multiple data sets
  • Experience developing, testing, and analyzing primary and secondary research, including Voice of Customer interviews and surveys (design, deployment, and analysis)
  • Experience in synthesizing competitive landscape insights into points of differentiation, value propositions and messaging and positioning
  • Experience envisioning and designing customer journeys across the buying process and service and support lifecycle
  • Experience shaping multi or omni channel strategies and experiences in B2B markets
  • Experience developing strategies for new digital business models across B2B and B2C industries
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerBI, PowerQuery, Alteryx Data Flows

Consulting Experience

  • Experience within a well-regarded management consultancy in a project delivery and IP development capacity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the desire to share technical knowledge and information with others
  • Experience owning full storyline development for project deliverables along with an ability to react and reprioritize deliverables to meet changing client timelines
  • Superior storytelling skills along with an ability to synthesize both qualitative and quantitative insights into the overall story
  • A consistent track record of managing engagements, leading multi-domain teams across geographies to exceed client expectations and building high-performing teams
  • A curious and inquisitive mind, with an openness to new experiences and learning, strong problem-solving ability, and client focus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work globally and collaboratively in a team environment, be diplomatic, and influence technical practitioners, stakeholders, and globally distributed teams
  • Strong organizational skills within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
