Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a Sr. Manager, Product Marketing with a strong lifecycle marketing background to scale the promotion and adoption of “Content Marketing Solutions” by software and service providers. This role will drive the strategy, audience segmentation, and end-to-end campaign development to drive adoption of Gartner Digital Markets’ Research Reports, Review Content, and Social Assets for our vendors to use in their own content marketing programs to position their offerings and grow their pipeline. 

What You Will Do:

  • Package and position Content Marketing Solutions for software and service providers (both free and paid users)

  • Develop the messaging and marketing assets for a strategic communications plan to create awareness and drive adoption of content marketing offerings

  • Create and refine effective email programs that leverage tenure and customer behavior data, and include a mix of triggered, targeted and broad educational campaigns

  • Manage a capable and dynamic offshore team focused on securing backlinks and driving adoption and Vendor use of Content Marketing assets 

  • Identify and define key performance indicators and reports needed to optimize channel effectiveness and track against vendor adoption/lifecycle goals

  • Play an active role in driving content development for email and social programs - writing briefs, ensuring creative aligns to brand standards, and incorporating channel best practices

  • Develop and communicate customer insights from Content Marketing Solutions programs and identify opportunities to share insights more broadly across the organization

  • Establish a measurement framework in partnership with Product, Vendor Analytics and Marketing Operations team, refining success metrics and inputs that show impact of our programs

  • Market intelligence—be the expert on our buyers/users—content marketers at software and services companies: who they are, how they buy, and their key buying/usage criteria

  • Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on the competition and how they are positioned, stay on top of competitive moves and create tools to support sales understanding

  • Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it

  • Build alignment with executive stakeholders and Product leaders to create integrated GTM plans and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan

What You Will Need:

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years of demonstrated success scaling lifecycle marketing programs

  • Email experience. Saas Marketing experience is a plus

  • Strong grasp of marketing strategies that create personalized, end-to-end lifecycle journey for users across multiple channels

  • Demonstrated experience developing a lifecycle strategy and implementing within an organization

  • Robust analytical skills - quickly digesting large amounts of data, validating findings, identifying trends, and pursuing the right questions to take action

  • Demonstrated project management skills including: planning resources, managing deadlines and objectives, delivering recommendations

  • Experience working with Google Analytics, Power BI

  • Experience working with CRMs (SugarCRM, Salesforce, etc.)

  • A highly collaborative and “team-first” work style

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills and strong executive presence. Comfortable interpreting results and communicating insights effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines
