Marketing Program Manager (Virtual Programs - APAC)

About the role:

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to be a part of our Experiential Marketing team. This team is responsible for the strategy, content planning, logistics and execution of virtual and in-person sessions for Gartner prospects. These programs have become pivotal to helping our sales organization generate leads, progress sales pipeline and close opportunities. Our sessions target prospects across the marketing funnel with the goal of converting those prospects to clients. The ideal candidate is process and detail-oriented, who has proven project management skills and is highly collaborative, innovative, can work in a fast-paced environment independently and has a passion for analyzing performance data. This person should be experienced with executing a content strategy, planning, and developing experiences and proficient in writing and editing. This role will be responsible for supporting the content planning of all sessions in APAC and will report to the Associate Director of global content development. This candidate should be fluent in professional level Mandarin and be comfortable in reading, writing, presenting, and moderating in both English and Mandarin. What you will do :

  • Host and moderate live sessions, including reading from a script, introducing the presenter, providing audience instructions, and covering promotional announcements
  • Lead planning for the creation and development of content for assigned sessions across all programs in region, focusing on including contextualization, tools, and client stories
  • Moderate conversations among guest speakers, including internal research and service delivery leads, as well as client executives for panel discussions and interviews
  • Identify and use best practices, internal data, and research insights to help inform content selection, creation, and recommendations, while continuously focusing on market research in-order to innovate and enhance audience experience
  • Research and plan panel discussion and interview questions using provided templates and best practices
  • Update content planning presentations and manage preparatory meetings and trainings for our programs with team members, stakeholders, and internal/external presenters
  • Update program trackers with session specific details, scheduling planning meetings as necessary
  • Prepare, support, and update our project communications with our sales teams, prospective clients, research stakeholders through email, document, and presentation templates
  • Edit scripts and abstracts to align with session details and promotions
  • Support ad-hoc projects and strategic planning to improve processes, maximize efficiencies, pilot new programs and optimize user experience

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
  • Experience with virtual platform content preferred
  • 4-5 years of marketing, content development, operations and/or related experience
  • Experienced user of Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Drive
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • High-level of accuracy and proven attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
