What we’re looking for:
Gartner is looking for well-rounded and skilled software engineer to join the Gartner’s Peer Insights Team. You will be part of highly motivated agile team driven by innovation and collaboration. As part of Peer Insights and Product Technology team, you will work on the high-performance web development environments using cutting edge web technologies. You will work in a multi-cloud environment and use containerized pipelines for applications.

  • Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to API management, user interface, software architecture or new technologies.

  • Design, develop, test and support applications and services using Java, ReactJS, Node.js and other languages and frameworks.


What you’ll bring to the team:  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field or equivalent experience in software development

  • 6+ years of experience developing customer facing web applications.

  • 4+ years of experience in Java, Spring, SQL, React & NodeJS

  • Experience with NextJS 

  • Experience in AWS Serverless Technologies, Lambda functions & EMR

  • A passion for engineering, learning, and teamwork is a must!

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented languages, architecture and design principles 

  • Experienced with responsive design and multi-platform web development

  • Solid understanding of security and best practices

  • Any experience with Elastic Search, Redis are a plus

  • Familiar with Continuous Integration is a plus

  • Experience with Page Speed Optimization/Core Web Vitals is a plus.
