Gartner’s Corporate Communications team is seeking a Senior Specialist, Social Media to join their team. The Senior Specialist, Social Media will lead the growth of Gartner’s social media marketing program across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. By partnering with various marketing and creative teams across the organization, this role is responsible for building brand awareness, extending Gartner’s reach, driving traffic, and generating quality leads through social media.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Execute strategy for social media marketing program for a follower base of over 2M across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram in collaboration with global teams

  • Create copy and and influence creative direction for 20+ different social media accounts daily

  • Ensure posts are published with attention to detail, no errors and a keen eye towards protecting the Gartner brand

  • Analyze performance of social media content daily and incorporate insights into future decisions; Ensure follower growth and engagement remains strong across all accounts.

  • Execute a reposting strategy to ensure evergreen nature of content

  • Manage social listening platform for Gartner function areas as well as crisis circumstances. Determine best metrics for social purposes and creation of dashboards and updates to topic queries

  • Perform regular competitive benchmarking and A/B tests to fine tune strategy and oversee upkeep of Social Media Marketing playbook/other best practice guides

  • Collaborate with multiple internal partners to consult on social media campaigns

  • Maintain constant proficiency and knowledge in latest social media trends, best practices and platform changes

  • Manage relationships with tech vendors and serve as internal point of contact for platform questions

  • Create, present, and distribute monthly quarterly reports to showcase growth of program to global stakeholders and senior leadership teams, always seeking to evolve our strategy based on data

  • Regular upkeep of all Gartner social media accounts including leading annual refresh of banners and execute an audit of profile descriptions

Job Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of social media or marketing experience, with demonstrated experience driving impact and growth for highly visible social media programs

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

  • Strong copywriting and editing experience 

  • Both an analytical and creative thinker with a curiosity and interest in data and using it to help make decisions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Experience using social media analytics tools and Google Analytics

  • Ability to prioritize daily and execute in a fast-paced environment with varying stakeholder priorities

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • B2B experience preferred

  • Familiarity with internal content planning tools used across multiple teams

  • Experience with khoros or a similar content publishing platform

  • Prior vendor management experience

  • Experience with an employee advocacy program
