Sr. Conference Planner, Registration


Support the Destination Conferences team by creating and delivering a world class registration service to all clients.  Ensure first class execution, forward thinking and product development are applied constantly by the team to aid client retention and business growth while still delivering a globally consistent and world class level of service. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for creating registration journeys that are deliberate, personalized, and engaging

  • Drive continuous elevation, improvement, and innovation of the registration experiences (delegate, sponsors, and associates)

  • Help coordinate and execute on a dynamic calendar with a variety of event types with varying requirements

  • Engage with registration vendors on day-to-day operations for Destination Conference registration

  • Provide input for attendee communications, as well as onsite branding related to the registration experience

  • Manage the on-site requirements for select conferences and be a point of contact for all Global Conferences Registration

  • Support the implementation of operational process and playbooks to maximize efficiencies and consistency

  • Effective financial management and predictability including budget support, processing registration related invoices and forecasting for all registration lines within budgets

  • Travel to events and provide on-site support as needed and determined with manager

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree  

  • 2-4 years of project management experience and/or events experience

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload

  • Proven budget management

  • Experience with Event Registration platforms preferred

  • Background in Supplier management with excellent communication skills

  • Excellent planning and project management skills

  • Effectively utilize external vendors and internal resources

  • Strong business analysis skills and communications skills

  • High sense of urgency and ability to prioritize

  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office, strong Excel skills needed

  • Understanding and appreciation of technology
