Gartner Digital Markets is looking to grow our business development team! Our ideal teammate is self-motivated and brings an entrepreneurial spirit, along with experience in the technology space. As a Business Development Executive within Digital Markets, you will identify, qualify new prospects and connect them with our innovative digital marketing solutions to help them grow their business.
What You Will Do:

Connect with software vendors to build relationships and continuously grow your pipeline

Close the deal by connecting the right companies with our innovative solutions to help them help do business better, smarter and more efficiently

Rely on targeted information gathering, research and cold calling to generate new leads who can benefit from Gartner’s leading technology solutions

Provide expert knowledge to B2B software vendors. The more you understand their business, the more you'll be equipped to challenge and teach them and optimize their return on investment

Master Gartner’s proven internal sales methodology, and demonstrate sales leadership through coaching, mentoring and developing junior sales account executives
What you will need:

Bachelor's degree is preferred
-
2 - 4 years of proven consultative sales experience in technology (services or software); bonus points if you’ve worked with digital marketing or advertising.

Must have full life cycle sales experience from prospecting to close

Ability to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change

A desire for continuous learning and ability to give/receive feedback

Demonstrated consistency in delivering results with positivity in the face of challenges

Confidence selling to, challenging and building trust-based, value-added relationships with clients ranging from CEOs and company founders to entry-level marketers

Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, strategic business insight
