Sr Graphic Designer

About the role :   

The Senior Graphic Designer is a member of Global Product Management (GPM), reporting to the Sr. Director, Product Marketing. You will be part of a team responsible for building and executing successful go-to-market and product adoption programs. Your role will help to define how we support the organization by designing compelling client-facing assets that help to acquire clients and grow retention.  

What you will do:     

  • Develop an understanding of Gartner’s business and products to create compelling design that clearly differentiates our value in the market  

  • Drive product marketing led asset creation including conceptualizing and designing product positioning decks, case studies, and one sheets in PowerPoint and Google Slides  

  • Apply data analysis and research insights to understand users' needs and relate designs to their unique challenges. 

  • Gain the confidence of stakeholders by contributing creative solutions that meet both strategic business and creative goals. 

  • Accomplish tasks with attention to detail displaying a sense of methodology and process. 

  • Assist in organizing, monitoring, archiving and maintaining team files. 

What you will need:  

  • A bachelor's degree in design or related field 

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and presentation applications like Google Slides and PowerPoint.  

  • Ability to think conceptually, tell a story, take a high-level concept and apply it to an entire campaign 

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and visually depict complex business topics. Can translate data into a compelling visuals (ie: infographics and slides) 

  • Demonstrated experience working with and developing brand guidelines and design systems. 

  • Meticulous eye for typography 

  • Ability to quickly adjust to new situations and maintain focus to meet tight deadlines 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; a strong desire to collaborate, share skills and both give and receive constructive feedback in a team environment; very customer and service focused
