Our Corporate Marketing team designs marketing programs to help prospective customers understand how Gartner’s insights, advice, and tools can help them achieve the mission critical priorities that drive organizational performance. The team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting prospects through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences across the buyer journey.

About this role

Corporate Marketing’s Content Marketing & SEO team is in search of a rockstar multimedia content creator to drive awareness and engagement for our Conferences business. This individual will work with conference marketers to strategize and create content for our public channels (web, social, YouTube) in the form of video, articles, ebooks and infographics in partnership with our design and production teams. 

The person who assumes this role will join a dynamic and collaborative team of marketers responsible for creating and publishing high-quality, high-performing brand awareness and campaign-driven content for both prospective and current clients across the various roles and functions that Gartner serves. Content is managed, produced and measured via multiple internal and external platforms and tools.

What you’ll do: 

This individual will create original editorial content inspired by Gartner’s conferences and experts to turn prospects into attendees and clients.  Among your responsibilities: 

  • Develop original content ideas for videos that promote the unique conferences value proposition

  • Collaborate with leadership and partners to develop overall programming strategy and video ideas

  • Analyze pre-existing content, content strategy, and programming slate for opportunities to optimize content and programming strategy

  • Strategize and create original web content that promotes the conferences value proposition and moves prospects along the customer journey

  • Partner with SEO team to ensure all content receives maximum discoverability for organic views

  • Work with social and edit teams on cross promotion distribution strategy and implementation

  • Guide and monitor traffic analysis and contribute future coverage plans based on data insights

  • Willing to travel up to 40% of the time, mostly to Gartner Conferences in US as needed.

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years experience working with content marketing, including multimedia

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Communications, Journalism, Video Production, Film, or related fields

  • Well-rounded portfolio of work demonstrating the ability to lead content creation across platforms supporting multiple product categories and marketing strategies

  • Working knowledge of the various short form/social media platforms and best practices of content storytelling on these platforms

  • An eye for detail with a high level of accuracy 

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to shift priorities and meet deadlines 

  • Willingness to learn and a commitment to producing high-quality, high-performing content
