Gartner’s TalentNeuron is the world’s leading source of global talent demand and supply data, predictive analytics and insights into real-time job market, location, and competitive intelligence to help clients make smarter talent planning and recruiting decisions. Our clients include market leaders like Microsoft and Verizon and hundreds of other large and midsized enterprise companies, and the business is growing quickly. The TalentNeuron Advisory team provides strategic advice and technical guidance to our clients, and delivers actionable insight via strategic custom research. 

We are currently seeking a Principal Advisor to work in our TalentNeuron business, providing consultative support to clients in our North America/EMEA region. A TalentNeuron Advisor is responsible for delivering actionable insight to clients on their key priorities via multiple data delivery channels. 

As an advisor, you will bring Gartner TalentNeuron’s data and tools to life across a broad range of world class clients. It's the job of an advisor to increase client engagement and ensure each client is applying Gartner TalentNeuron’s resources to their work. An advisor will ask insightful questions to diagnose the causes of client challenges and recommend the best course of action. The advisor might also suggest a different approach or talk the client through how best to leverage Gartner TalentNeuron’s data and resources that works within the client’s business context.

What you’ll do

  • Apply expansive knowledge of TalentNeuron capabilities and Gartner research to help resolve high-value business problems for clients
  • Engage senior-level executives by building relationships, establishing credibility, conducting substantive content discussions, diagnosing needs, solving problems, and identifying relevant resources
  • Actively plays a consultative role in providing client voice to the product development roadmap
  • Partner with sales and service delivery partners to increase account growth, retention, and engagement

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in related field or industry
  • Proficiency in distilling data or information to identify key findings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills
  • Strong commercial orientation
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively navigate a highly matrixed and global environment
