We deliver value to clients in areas such as Strategy Consulting, Data Analytics and Digital Transformations. Typically, this helps Gartner’s clients to execute on their strategic priorities, across all sectors, including:

  • Digital Acceleration and Transformation

  • Big Data and Analytics

  • Market Analytics (including Commercial Due Diligence in the technology space)

  • Cloud Strategy

  • Sourcing and Ecosystem Optimization

  • Contract and Cost Optimization

  • Security and Risk Management

What you’ll do

As an Associate Director you will be part of a high-impact team that delivers Growth Strategy engagements to large corporates and institutional investors (PE/VC), with a focus on Market Modelling and Forecasting. Our Market Analytics Practice provides clients with clarity into technology market dynamics grounded in the wealth of proprietary data assets Gartner has built over the years.

By working with Gartner Consulting you will shape C-level clients' insights into the future of disruptive technologies and market areas such as Cloud, IoT, Cybersecurity, Enterprise and Infrastructure Software but also Smart City / Smart Manufacturing and the Future of Energy. Your contribution will not be limited to market forecasting, you will also help our clients understand customers, competitors and key success criteria for the positioning of new digital offerings through a range of dedicated Gartner solutions (trends radar, competitive analysis, customer insights/Voice of the Customer, capability monetisation, go to market strategy, new product business case, etc.)

What you’ll need

  • Advanced Excel Modelling, with experience of building complex market models. Alteryx experience desired

  • Experience in the areas of: Market Analytics, Market Sizing, Market Forecasting, Data modelling, Market Modelling, Trends Analysis, Customer Insight, Competitor Analysis & Strategy Design/Development

  • Strong knowledge of strategy consulting frameworks and financial concepts such as budgeting, asset valuation and net present value.

  • Experience as a member of high-performing consulting teams in the design and delivery of high-quality material and actionable guidance to clients.
