As the Managing Vice President, ITL Enterprise Architecture, you will be the leader of a global team of analysts dedicated to helping Enterprise Architecture leaders succeed.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of senior analysts
    • Help your team to delight members and prospects in all interactions, particularly inquiries, POCs and presentations
    • Help KI Leaders (our internal product managers for research content) and your team to publish must-have research addressing member key issues
    • Help your team drive client retention and revenue growth
    • Set team and individual priorities, reassigning responsibilities to balance the work and optimize the team’s contribution
  • Hire and develop great analysts, KI leaders and conference chairs
    • Hire great talent quickly and help them quickly become productive
    • Help everyone on your team continuously improve
    • Help analysts take on special roles, develop new skills and grow to take on new roles
  • Help drive Gartner’s continued success
    • Help your team adopt new processes and responsibilities
    • Contribute to special projects that improve and evolve Gartner

Requirements

  • 10 plus years’ experience working within the technology field and 3 plus years’ experience in team management
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture
    • Experience as a chief architect or related roles highly desirable
    • Business acumen and management experience will be favored over deep technical strength
  • A demonstrated ability to inspire teams to achieve great things
  • Success hiring and leading globally distributed, multi-cultural teams
  • Strong communication, mentoring and coaching skills
  • Skills in cross-team collaboration, influence and facilitation
  • Credibility to represent Gartner research methodology and strategies effectively at a senior level
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Master’s degree in related field or relevant experience
