What you’ll do

We are currently looking for experienced strategy consultants advising Insurance clients at the intersection of business and technology.  Potential candidates will currently have titles including Senior Manager, Director, or Principal, and are looking to join a world-class strategy consulting team in Japan (Tokyo or Osaka).  

Our Consulting Directors are responsible for leading our delivery teams, supporting client relationship management, and participating in business development. You will manage engagement teams and advise clients at the highest strategic level on both big-picture and tactical matters, focusing on the implications of how technology investments and enablement impact a wide-range of business outcomes.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Japanese fluency required and Business-level English language skills preferred
  • An excellent understanding of the insurance industry and current technology trends transforming the industry, for example: Digital Insurance, InsurTech opportunity and threats, IoT, Automation, Robotics, Robo-advisory, AI, etc.
  • Experience within a well-regarded management consultancy in a project delivery and sales capacity
  • An ability to be hands-on and to manage multiple client engagements and business development priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working with multiple IT solutions
  • A consistent track record of leading people and building high-performing teams that leverage technology to drive the mission-critical priorities of commercial or government entities
  • An ability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds towards a common goal 
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and the creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems. Must adapt Gartner frameworks and methodologies to strike at the heart of a client’s most pressing business challenges
