This team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting leaders and their teams through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences throughout the buyer journey.

The Senior Editor is a key role within the Creative Center of Excellence (CCOE), Gartner’s in-house creative agency.

What You Will do:

  • Lead the video editing function at our Creative Center of Excellence and demonstrate versatile editing skills to create dynamic short-form video content
  • Optimize content across multiple platforms including, Gartner Digital Properties, LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook
  • Demonstrate passion, motivation and a sixth sense for pace, music, and timing in editing across multiple editing genres
  • Effortlessly digest interview raw footage and then put soundbites together to tell a truly compelling story
  • Offer resourceful solutions and share best practices with junior members of the team
  • Assist a larger team with developing appropriate editing techniques to drive storytelling
  • Translate complex topics and client objectives into effective visual storytelling for both internal clients
  • Internalize the Gartner brand guidelines
  • Work with writers, designers, animators, and other creative team members to develop best in class creative solutions
  • Apply typography treatments and motion graphics design/development/execution
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorm approaches for clients
  • Export, transcode and archive footage

What You Will Need:

  • 6-8 years' experience as a Senior Editor in corporate, agency or broadcast environment
  • Demonstrated keen eye for motion graphic design and a strong visual sensibility
  • Proven ability to understand and visually translate complex business topics and trends
  • Advanced experience editing to create content for multiple channels including web, intranet and social
  • Strong experience with After Effects and Photoshop
  • Demonstrated ability developing best in class creative content
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-service focused, attention to detail and positive attitude
  • Outside the box thinker – always presenting new ideas and approaches to tackling video challenges
  • Ability to quickly adjust to new situations and maintain focus to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Solid understanding of Mac OS platform
  • Bachelor’s Degree in film, production or related field
