The purpose of this role is to help create and manage a portfolio of new data-driven products for Gartner Digital Markets. The role will be responsible for the conception, development, and maturation of new products by combining market research/feedback and user testing of prototypes. The role will also have responsibilities for managing our product portfolio strategy and commercialization efforts.  The ideal candidate will have an extensive product management background and some and experience in developing platform-centric products. Additional responsibilities include managing junior Product Managers, establishing product KPIs and defining SCRUM processes for team. This role sits within an entrepreneurial team that provides many opportunities for professional growth.


What You Will do:

  • Help set the strategic vision for a new data-driven product portfolio

  • Manage and conduct market research and needs assessments to inform products

  • Define individual product and cross-product strategy and roadmaps

  • Work closely with product colleagues and development teams build and advance products

  • Work with cross-functional teams to bring developed products to market and commercialize them

  • Define key product-related KPIs

  • Influence senior management, manage Junior Product Manager resources

  • Establish and enable SCRUM processes across product and development teams

  • Provide leadership to the following roles: scrum master (Project Manager), Product Manager, Business Analyst, Developer

  • Creation and implementation of a commercialized product portfolio

  • Management of product team, and coordination of product development efforts

  • Effective collaboration with multiple business units in order to bring products to market

  • Rigorous adherence to project and product development plans

  • Thorough and detailed user stories and documentation to enable product development

  • Tracking and measurement of product and cross-product metrics and KPIs



What You Will Need:

  • 5+ of product management experience in a B2B setting

  • 3+  years of managing software development projects and development teams

  • Experience in managing Product Managers

  • Experience building with data-driven, analytics-based products

  • Technical requirements and functional definition

  • Ability to define, prioritize, and maintain a product roadmap

  • Capacity to successfully manage multiple projects and responsibilities concurrently

  • Strong experience with JIRA

  • Experience leading agile SCRUM teams and related ceremonies

  • Experience working with mid- and senior-level executives

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team skills                                  

  • Familiarity with relational database querying languages  (e.g. SQL)

  • Strong analytical and business analysis skills required
