  • Develop, maintain and share as appropriate knowledge and expertise of global legal and regulatory compliance industry trends and best practices
  • Develop and deliver training on relevant compliance topics
  • Monitor and audit compliance programs, taking steps to remediate where appropriate
  • Contribute to global matter-management database (both in handling specific matters and updating system requirements as appropriate)
  • Data Analysis: Capture, manage and analyze crucial data from investigations across the globe to identify risk areas and trends, and implement changes to help prevent future issues that require investigation
  • Help develop and execute legal and regulatory compliance communications plans
  • Maintain Legal & Regulatory policies, reviewing and updating with a standard cadence
  • Build and maintain ethics & compliance intranet and internal social media content
  • Address relevant issues that come into the hotline and via other media, including investigation and discipline
  • Contribute quarterly to Audit Committee report and executive session
  • Report to Operating Committee, senior operating management and Board of Directors as appropriate

Position Requirements:

  • JD required
  • Prior experience: minimum 8-12 years’ post-college work experience, including minimum of 5 years in a compliance-related field. Law firm or corporate compliance role prior experience preferred. Deep knowledge of global Compliance-related laws and related activities (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Act, OFAC)
  • CCEP certification preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving and follow-up skills
  • Strong communication skills; ability to translate complex concepts for non-legal audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, with ability to interact effectively and build relationships with all levels of associates
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent spoken and written English; second language a plus
  • Experience with project management and business processes/systems
  • Microsoft Office suite and/or Google G Suite; matter management system; document management and retention system
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn, adapt, and apply new processes to job role
  • Ability to manage many complex projects while at the same time meeting tight deadlines
  • Unquestionable ethics and excellent judgment, ability to maintain confidentiality
