Our Corporate Marketing team strives to understand the needs of the customers and communities we serve and designing the most effective programs to profitability meet those needs. This team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting leaders and their teams through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences throughout the buyer journey.

The Junior Editor/Producer is a key role within the Creative Center of Excellence (CCOE), Gartner’s in-house creative agency.

What You Will do:

  • Produce and edit video content purchased by our clients featuring Gartner experts and client interviews
  • Ensure successful client experience throughout the life cycle of video projects
  • Handle pre-production logistics and book production crews for location interviews
  • Oversee video shoots via remote access (phone/WebEx)
  • Interface with Gartner account representatives to maintain seamless client experience
  • Edit interviews and add basic motion graphics to complete final 30-minute programs for client use
  • Shoot and edit Gartner video/multimedia projects for Marketing, Sales, Communications, Conferences and Research to drive Gartner business value
  • Shoot interviews and b-roll in various environments (office, on-location, studio)
  • Ask off-camera questions during interviews
  • Scout locations, determine production resource needs and provide direction to crews
  • Assist other producers in the resolution of complex production challenges
  • Work with writers, designers, and other creative team members to ensure successful creative development
  • Manage freelance production personnel where needed
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time annually

What You Will Need:

  • 2-3 years experience as a producer and editor in corporate, agency or broadcast
  • 1-2 years experience editing with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • 1-year experience as a videographer (in-studio and on-location)
  • Experience with advanced DSLR camera systems, digital production, audio gear, and lighting techniques
  • Familiar with Adobe After Effects and Photoshop
  • Demonstrated ability to follow brand guidelines
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with business partners
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written skills
  • Strong organization, time management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills and a positive/customer-service mindset
  • Outside the box thinker – always presenting new ideas and approaches to tackling video productions
  • Ability to quickly adjust to new situations and maintain focus to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Solid understanding of Mac OS platform
  • Bachelor’s degree required
