Our Corporate Marketing team strives to understand the needs of the customers and communities we serve and designing the most effective marketing programs to profitability drive top-line growth for Gartner. This team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting leaders and their teams through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences throughout the buyer journey.

Can you think like a publisher, manage like an editor and produce original content like a journalist? The job of the Content Marketing Manager is to create compelling content in a variety of formats for Gartner marketing programs including popular “Smarter With Gartner” site for promoting Gartner thought leadership on our client’s mission critical priorities.  This role will align content to Marketing goals to accelerate new business growth and increase awareness and understanding of the Gartner brand.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with Gartner research analysts and marketing managers to develop original content in multiple formats including articles, infographics, videos, quizzes, presentations, and eBooks to drive client journeys through the buying cycle. 

  • Partner with integrated marketing team to develop content strategy for distinct personas and buyer journeys for specific business roles such as marketing, sales, and HR.

  • Develop content treatment for business and technology concepts in original research by distilling key concepts into understandable terms to publish in various media.

  • Develop, write and produce high volume of quality content including 5-8 articles and infographics per month and one ebook or larger content asset per quarter.

  • Maintain a distinctive voice that adheres to brand standards and helps bring the brand to life across media and channels.

  • Collaborate with creative center of excellence to create engaging content assets (imagery, infographics, data visualization, video, etc) for use in publishing.

  • Analyze content performance and adapt editorial calendar and strategy based on results.

  • Understand our clients’ mindset and key issues to write compelling content with a story-first approach.

  • Publish content directly via content marketing platform into Wordpress.

  • Implement best in class SEO.

  • Create content updates and social promotions.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Journalism or Communications Major preferred

  • Minimum 5 years writing and creating B2B content, preferably on sales, marketing or HR, for a publication or brand 

  • Superb editing skills

  • Knowledge of SEO tools and best practices

  • Experience with Wordpress, content marketing platforms and/or blogging and content management platforms

  • Experience developing a variety of content assets including infographics, video, quizzes, etc.

  • Passion for technology and business
