Conferences Production Intern

We’ve included some example projects below for the types of activities the hired interns will be involved in (but these are by no means exhaustive):

  • Portfolio budget planning review process (including market intelligence)
  • Coordinate and distribute onsite event kits
  • Create and organize online dashboard
  • Create master list of all global additional value driver initiatives including descriptions
  • Setback schedules
  • Operations pre-plan and post plan templates
  • Create overflow hotel spreadsheet
  • Update site visit agenda templates
  • Create master hotel file (rooms, sq. footage, sleeping rooms, distance to airport)
  • Branding inventory checklist and ordering
  • Review the registration sites and communications/templates.
  • Proofing Conference Navigator web and mobile to ensure we are displaying things consistently across the different regions
  • Onsite support
  • Winners Circle gift/uniform research
  • Corporate Events giveaways research- i.e. EDP and Leadership Summit
  • Winners Circle Awards Research, RFP suppliers, review process
  • Corporate Golf Outing Logistics
  • Holiday Party – Support and playbook creation

Job Requirements:

  • Ideally students going into their Junior or Senior year of college/university
  • Relevant majors such as the following are a plus (but not required):
    • Event Management/Planning
    • Business
    • Marketing
    • Communications
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Involved in extracurricular activities & can handle diverse workload
    • Clubs, sports, jobs, charity work
  • Possesses the following traits
    • Customer Service/User Experience Mindset
    • Problem Solver/Solutions Orientation
    • Resolve/Tenacity
    • Collaboration/Teamwork
    • Grace Under Pressure
    • Decision Quality
