Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: 
•    Set global logistics strategy and objectives in line with our Events Mission statement and annual priorities – consistent and flawless execution on a global basis 
•    Responsible for management of the Evanta direct event budget of $24 Million to deliver all events globally for the Evanta portfolio
•    Responsible for leadership over our Global portfolio of events including the Supply Chain Leaders Forum (formerly part of SCM World)
•    Identify optimal onsite events investments to improve and lift the customer experience and innovate how we deliver
•    Effectively lead and inspire a rapidly expanding and diverse Events logistics team – requires travel and time to be spent in person with leaders in each region (Up to 30% travel)
•    Lead internal events organization helping us deliver outstanding Evanta events for employees with a consistently high experience to those we deliver externally
•    Lead an exceptional team who are experts in each of their functions- continue to create centers of excellence within the team where appropriate – Customer experience, venue logistics, F&B, AV production, customer feedback etc.
•    Leads team by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
•    Continually plan for growth and the ability to accommodate this in every region in the world – be ahead of all new venue/location opportunities and partner with the rest of the Event Production, Sales and Marketing teams to ensure these are contracted appropriately
•    Work in partnership with Operations Manager on capacity planning, financial planning and contract management
•    Collaborate with the VP Content and leadership team to ensure the end-to-end client experience is seamlessly managed and that the Operations team clearly understand the needs of the audience and how this can be achieved in a live event environment
•    Collaborate with the Head of Concierge Services and Brand Directors to ensure the teams work cohesively together and can effectively deliver exceptional service and experiences to our sponsors. Ensure we execute on new forms of sponsored inventory 
•    Build effective relationships with wide range of external partners ensuring clear comprehension of Evanta and Gartner priorities
•    Effective project management including ownership and adherence to timelines and templates and accurately track and evaluate results on overall project goals
•    Partner with VP Marketing to enhance and innovate the brand and customer experience pre, onsite and post events
•    Build exceptional relationships with venues and external suppliers – ensure we are partnering with the best in the industry and effectively negotiate these contracts to ensure we maximize what is available to us. Personally own venue contracting, when needed, in partnership with the venue contracting lead and senior manager of production/operations
•    Assess competitive events and best in class companies or events to be watched
•    Lead international team (EMEA & ANZ) extending the Evanta model into new regions and building appropriate staffing and resource models for us to deliver outstanding events

Positions Reporting: 
•    5 direct reports and a team of roughly 35 people

Education:
•    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related business field

Experience: 
•    12+ Years Event Operations Experience, with proven success producing World Class Events 
•    Logistics, Customer Service and Creative Production. Account Management experience is an advantage.
•    Strong background in conference/event management, including:
o    C-level/Technology marketing/events
o    Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovation while executing flawlessly
o    Expert in customer experience design and delivery
o    Ability to objectively measure success
o    Ability to lead direct and indirect reports
o    Ability to identify, research and operate in new geographies
o    Budget-management and financial-forecasting experience
o    Proven Project Management Experience
