If you like working with a generous, supportive, high-performing team, Gartner is where you want to be.About this role: The HTTP Business Unit oversees Gartner s technology provider clients (vs. our EU Business unit that manages our end-user clients). We work with the smallest of start-ups all the way up to the technology giants such as HP, Microsoft, Oracle, Google, CSC, IBM, et al.In this role, one is expected to improve the High Tech vendor business client retention % and growth % through support of U.S. based team members in Product Management, Services and Sales (At least 10 percentage points higher retention rate in accounts supported vs. unsupported accounts)What you ll do:

  • Develop & deliver specified number of DRB (deal review board) planning kits (incl. Outside-in, and Gartner-research-out company analysis) and customer ready Impact assessments and proposals connecting client s business goals with value delivered by Gartner
  • Deliverables must be in customer presentable formats. Deliverables are (not limited to) client facing impact assessments and business cases which would help in renewal of services and building proposals by mapping client's business goals with values delivered by Gartner
  • Analyze companies based on external and internal data sources, synthesize the insights and summaries of facts about companies or industries. Leverage the insights into building impact assessments, business cases and growth proposals.
  • Leverage technology understanding acumen in order to align technology provider clients' business objective with Gartner values
  • Continuously developing the working knowledge of new emerging technologies and their business impacts
  • Leverage automation and tools to increase capacity of the team to scale to support larger number of customer facing material
  • Support new approaches to handle the risk especially for small transaction sizes (primarily SMB)
  • Develop best practices to improve quality and productivity of deliverables and ensure high quality execution of best practices
  • Proactively propose ideas that can help improve the business performance and team performance Ensure high quality execution of best practices
  • Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Support the largest and highest risk SMB renewals

What you ll need:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team skills
  • Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; Advanced power point skills would be plus and Advanced excel and visual analytics knowledge would be plus
  • Continual focus on innovation and productivity enhancement

Who you are:

  • 3-5 years business experience including 2+ years of management consulting (eg. in consulting centers of excellence) experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Tech Industry
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality presentations
  • Strong sense of natural curiosity, quick analytical skills, instinctive math skills
  • Understanding of finance (incl. annual reports, corporate financial metrics), financial modeling and accounting
  • Demonstrated ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable business strategies
  • Demonstrated ability of Data Analysis (using tools and otherwise) and articulating meaningful inferences is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable business strategies
  • Extensive experience in presenting and communicating ideas to key stakeholders across businesses
  • Experience in giving direct client and sales presentation is a plus
