As an experienced sales professional, you’ll partner with existing Gartner Digital Markets clients to address their most critical priorities. By becoming a true partner to your clients, you’ll identify opportunities for account retention and growth. As a member of Strategic Account team, you will spend your day growing our largest and savviest software clients to help them get the most out of their Pay-per-click (PPC), Pay-per-lead (PPL) campaigns and investment in Data Insights solutions.
What You Will do:
Help your customers (large software companies) meet and exceed their goals for driving sales from programs with Gartner Digital Markets in order to maximize retention.
Utilize black-belt discovery skills to understand business objectives, mission-critical priorities and build trust-based value-added relationships
Identify additional programs and offerings across Gartner Digital Markets that will help your clients achieve their Mission-Critical Priorities and grow their business.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within your client-base
You'll stay up to date with the latest online marketing and lead generation best practices to help your clients improve their marketing efforts through proactive, consultative engagement
You’ll lead occasional training and/or best practice workshops for your Client Success teammates and lead by example to continuously improve our internal processes.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree is required
3-5 years of consultative, B2B sales experience
Proven, consistent success in your current and prior roles
Experience with online marketing and technology
Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change
Be teachable and open to best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement.
Be consistent at delivering results through perseverance, humility, and a positive outlook in the face of challenges.
Comfortable challenging clients and building trust-based, value-added relationships
Proven experience building excellent client relationships
