Overview Function

The primary responsibility of this position is to project manage the execution of the global strategy for the sales intranets.  The goal is to create and maintain the most efficient sites for maximum productivity for Sales. The effective execution of this role has a direct impact on sales productivity and the overall performance of a low tenured sales force. This role supports GTS, GBS and GCS for the global scale of Gartner’ intranet sites.   

Major Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

  • Manage projects associated with execution of Sales Intranet strategy
  • Successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project
  • Define the project scope and build its comprehensive work plan
  • Establish good working relationships with stakeholders, understand risk assessment, strong communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Working with all levels of sales to understand needs and requirements for respective intranet, including conducting user interviews as necessary
  • Designing pages and information architecture
  • Ensuring sites are as simple as possible, globally consistent and reflect sales methodology and processes content is necessary and in line with sales needs
  • Understand industry best practices for usability and navigation
  • Liaise between sales, the business units and the technical team to ensure timely & effective execution

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors’ Degree,  PMP certification preferred
  • Professional Experience; 2-4 years, project management experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of sales and sales process
  • Strong project management skills
  • Confident decision making and the ability to gain consensus
  • Ability to translate sales and business priorities into intuitive and simple information architecture
  • Ability to improve processes and implement changes to continuously align to sales needs and objectives
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines

Technical/ Professional Skills & Competencies   

  • Experience with publishing and maintaining content in SharePoint, WordPress and other CMS platforms are a plus
  • Strong project management skills
  • Process-oriented with ability to identify, streamline & operationalize recurring activities
  • Ability to boil down complex concepts into simplified solutions
  • Effectively deconstruct issues, analyze information and quickly process in order to make right decisions
  • Effectively prioritize time and consistently deliver quality output/tasks on-time
  • Team player with ability to work with wide variety of roles in an extended environment
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
