Lead Qualifying Specialist
Develop and maintain lead qualification processes to provide qualified research leads generated from Marketing Programs to the Research Account Executives by researching organizations and associated prospects, understanding their key initiatives, budget and approval process, identifying decision makers and setting the sales appointments for the Research Sales Account Executives.
- Research and uncover new leads: identify best sources of leads and prioritize based on title and role, previous webinars, events and current initiatives.
- Execute email outreach and make outbound telephone sales calls to qualify leads and set appointments for Research Account Executives.
- Plays a significant role in qualifying the leads and setting appointments for either phone or face to face meetings with AEs.
- Route leads to appropriate AE in respective territory and provide background on client needs/expectations.
- Track opportunities and scheduled appointments and which new business opportunities have been explored/exhausted in Client Connect.
- Maintain weekly lead qualification report.
- Coordinate and complete additional projects as requested.
- Build pipeline of qualified leads to the AEs to support appointment and revenue target of new business. All leads must be entered into Client Connect.
- Assist in creating campaigns, recommendations and business cases which will enhance our sales strategy and ensure we reach our new business and overall appointment goals.
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- 1-2 years of business experience - experience in the information technology space is a plus.
- Telephone Sales and persuasiveness skills.
- Project management skills.
- Computer skills with working knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Planning and organizing.
- Problem analysis.
