About this role:
This exciting inside sales role involves building relationships with senior executives within the world s most prominent IT Organizations to drive event sales. A successful global event attendance specialists is highly motivated and success driven and thrives in a high-performance team culture.
What you will do:
Achieve annual revenue quota goals through sales and account management processes within territory
Research, develop, manage and maintain audience database
Establish and maintain relationship with C-level and below audience through regular strategic communications and interactions in order to ensure their attendance at the event
Drive large team send opportunities across Gartner's top accounts
Manage completion of all necessary registration processes and documentation required for inclusion in Event Materials in conjunction with logistics team
Meet with clients at the events, as well as drive on-site renewals and Events on Demand product sales
Track the program and capture and analyze data and feedback after each event.
Research and find new leads and contacts within Named Account territory
Collaborate with Sales teams within Gartner to drive greater partnerships, client relationships, sales and leads
Create tools for sales using demographics and audience data
Utilize audience relationships to develop sales leads and educate sales team on audience needs.
Complete additional projects as assigned
What you ll need:
Bachelor s Degree
1-3 years sales or recruitment experience (preferably within technology field)
Experience with sales prospecting a plus
Must be able to thrive in a quota driven environment
Understanding and aptitude for the Information Technology Industry
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrates a high sense of urgency
