What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for an experienced Sales Learning Development Program Manager to join our global Sales Learning and Development (SL&D) team. The SL&D team is responsible for sales new hire onboarding, as well as development programs for tenured associates. The Sales Learning Development Program Manager will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and facilitating learning and development programs for both new hires and tenured associates. This role requires a high degree of independent problem solving, stakeholder management, facilitation, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate must have experience in sales and/or sales training, curriculum development, class facilitation, while being agile, accountable and results oriented.
What you’ll do:
Support the effort to define, design, and develop the learning and development strategy for Gartner Digital Markets
Serve as a valued resource that assists in the identification, definition, design and development of training for both new hire and tenured associates
Facilitate training for all sales roles and locations within Gartner Digital Markets
Ongoing refresh of existing programs and the design, creation, development and delivery of additional New Hire Training programs to support the effective onboarding of new hires
Leverage learning technology as method to deliver training content (repeatable, scalable), and the development of technology-based learning and development solutions
Participate and project manage highly complex training projects such as: the development and delivery of new training curriculum, simulations, global workshops, and case studies.
Work with the team to continually gather information, feedback and input from the global sales organization to provide insight and ideas to the content curriculum development
Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders to support the continual gathering of information, feedback and input in order drive curriculum development/evolution
What you’ll need:
BA degree in IT, Business, Marketing, Instructional Design, Education Technology or similar
2+ years of experience in a sales environment or training role focused on delivering training to a sales team (preferably in a field related to B2B sales and marketing)
Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
Experience in writing effective instructional text, audio and video scripts
Experience/Understanding in visual design skills with ability to storyboard
Familiarity with Learning Management System (ideally Cornerstone) and e-Learning development programs (ideally Articulate) is preferred
Ability to independently manage and prioritize projects in an organized, programmatic way
Excellent organization skills, time management and task flexibility with the ability to change priorities as needed
Willing to accept fully accountability across all projects assigned
Able to collaborate and build productive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
Strong team player, willing to share ideas and information with peers and business leaders
Willingness to learn and develop visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator)
