We’re looking for a passionate, experienced, and operationally-minded content leader to lead a global team of research analysts, marketing copywriters, video producers/editors, and brand-oriented editors who create content to help software buyers find the right solutions for their business needs. Reporting to the CMO of Digital Markets, this leader will be responsible for driving the content strategy and operating model that delivers full funnel content, from thought leadership to product-level to editorial to case studies to marketing-oriented acquisition content. This leader must build greater domain authority and brand awareness by increasing reader engagement, growing web visitor traffic, motivating desired calls to action, enhancing SEO performance, fostering social media activity and improving other readership key performance indicators. With both Gartner Research and over 1M buyer reviews insights, this leader will have access to deep market data and analyses to help his/her team create helpful, meaningful, consumable content.
What You Will Do:
Lead planning of content within and across teams to drive innovation and continued engagement.
Collaborate with CMO, GMs for Digital Markets brands (Capterra, GetApp, and Software Advice), product, and marketing channel teams to drive overall traffic, engagement, and trust in the site
Champion, coach and inspect the on-time creation and delivery of high-quality and engaging content to ensure we meet the needs of our target audience (small to midsize businesses).
Forecast content performance to align content strategy with business goals and collaboratively make longer-view decisions on team expansion and breadth and depth of content coverage.
Achievement of Digital Markets revenue and profitability targets.
Accelerated leverage for the business: grow revenue per resource $ invested.
Formulate and execute on change initiatives that will keep our teams, systems and content on the leading edge.
Ensure content teams fulfill commitments to all relevant agendas and leverage Gartner Enterprise Content where feasible.
Coach on professional handling of content independence, integrity and objectivity.
Deliver content that drives visitor calls to action (CTA) including: monetized conversion, visit product directory/pages, subscribe, leave a review, read more articles, etc.
Increased agility of your group, demonstrated by positive attitude toward and faster adoption of change

What You Will Need:
A passion for technology and how it impacts business success.
A background in Content Marketing within a digital organization.
Ability to build, grow and motivate strong teams in a fast-paced environment where change is inevitable and improvement is continuous.
Experience in fact-based analysis and critical thinking.
Ability to lead the brainstorming, planning and creation efforts for highly engaging content.
A high level of skill in expressing important information through the written word and other scalable delivery formats, such as graphics, video and audio.
Proven organization skills and diligent on-time content execution--never sacrificing quality for speed and volume.
A deep understanding of the many facets of web content and how SEO impacts content marketing.
Ability to define the future of our research content in a world of constant change.
A Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent is required; advanced degree preferred.
