We are looking for an exceptional web developer to support strategy and execution for our website optimization program (CRO) within Gartner Digital Markets (GDM). Websites include Capterra, Software Advice and GetApp. You will join a thriving optimization team and be expected to code complex a/b tests, analyze results, and collaborate across multiple teams. This role collaborates closely with engineering, paid search, product, branding, and more. A general understanding of the conversion funnel and testing principles is required for this role. We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys optimizing website user experience, building and QAing tests/front end development, and working within tight timelines.
What You Will Do:
Collaborate with our Marketing and Product teams to ensure tests follow brand and development standards, and integrate our tests with our backend and tech stack.
Leverage industry-leading testing platforms to support in the tracking, management, and analysis for all performance marketing tests.
Maintain the testing roadmap to keep product and marketing teams informed about upcoming tests and priority shifts in upcoming tests.
Share and build on successes - leverage testing learnings across the businesses to accelerate success.
What You Will Need:
1-3+ years of experience with front end development and user experience improvements with an established and consistent history of success.
Hands on experience with running A/B tests. Bonus points if experience in testing platforms such as Optimizely, Google Optimize, Adobe Target, or Visual Website Optimizer.
Eagerness and ability to learn marketing analytics. In this role you'll learn to work with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager as it relates to how you perform A/B tests. The ideal candidate will embrace a marketing mindset and be energized in learning the conversion funnel to ideate and run tests that will improve performance.
Project management and execution experience. You consistently drive projects and execute through the team to deliver improvements to conversion rate, revenue, profit, quality, user experience and more.
