Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a passionate product manager with experience in e-commerce software—or similar platform development—to join our talented team in Austin, Texas.

In this role, you will take ownership for building our next generation platform for our web catalog that powers our three online brands—Software Advice, GetApp, and Capterra. The ideal candidate will have a product management background and demonstrated experience in fulfilling a product’s vision.

What You Will do:

  • Write business and technical requirements in user story format

  • Present user stories to the development team and refine stories after ceremonies

  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog estimation

  • Work with other product managers across the globe to ensure alignment of interdependent scrum teams

  • Communicate with and present to senior management

What You Will Need:

  • 2+ years of experience working in product management

  • 2+ years of managing software development projects

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working in a Product Owner role in an Agile scrum team

  • Technical requirements writing experience — especially for RESTful APIs

  • Experience with data-driven, analytics-based products
