Gartner’s Digital Markets business is looking for a UX Copywriter to join the UX branch of our design team.
Our target users are small to medium sized businesses looking for software to address challenges in their business ventures. Our team is tasked with understanding our users in order to help them find the software they are looking for. As we shift from primarily a discovery tool to a teaching tool, we want to make sure our copy is clear, concise, and is using the same language as our users. One of the challenges you will tackle is to absorb the outcomes of our user testing and create / improve copy for new and existing products.
What you’ll do:
You will be the owner of the copy and microcopy on the customer facing product and will have the opportunity to define the role of UX copy on the site
Propose A/B tests to improve clarity on the site
Balance stakeholder feedback, search engine optimization and user understanding of copy on the site
Collaborate with Product to help identify potentially confusing copy on the site that could be optimized
Collaborate with Branding and Content teams to keep copy in line with brand, but with a user focus
1+ years in a copywriting role, with experience creating microcopy
Strong attention to detail—meticulous and accurate
A portfolio of writing samples, with specific examples that are live in production
