We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Quantitative Analytics Researcher to join our Human Resources research practice area. Senior Specialists enjoy exposure to the full array of strategic thought work, including primary and secondary research, data collection and analysis, predictive modeling and proprietary research exercises focused on peeling apart ideas in search of insight. They work closely with C-level executives to identify and produce research that help CHROs and Senior HR Leaders solves complex business challenges on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dissect problems using qualitative and quantitative research and analysis skills, inductive and deductive reasoning, abstract thinking and root-cause analysis
  • Collaborate on new-to-world quantitative research workstreams, including survey modeling and design, and other data collection techniques
  • Analyze large data sets using advanced statistical techniques to identify actionable insights for senior executives
  • Engage executives from Fortune 500 and mid-size companies to identify their most pressing business challenges
  • Translate research and survey results into actionable recommendations that clients can implement
  • Convert research and data analysis results into clear narratives and visually-compelling presentations designed to teach senior clients

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in an analytics-heavy field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Policy Analysis, etc.)
  • 2+ years of research experience
  • 2+ years of experience in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to identify relevant findings
  • 2+ years of experience conducting primary and secondary research using qualitative and quantitative data
  • Strong analytical skills, specifically, the ability to solve problems using qualitative and quantitative information and perform root cause and return on investment analysis
  • Experience creating graphical representations of data
  • Expertise with a statistical package (e.g., R, Python, SPSS, STATA, etc.) for analytics (e.g., multi-variate regressions, logistic regressions, cluster analysis, factor analysis, etc.)
  • Strong results orientation and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Original/creative thinking and superior problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated/self-starter approach to projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master's level or above) in an analytics-heavy field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Policy Analysis, etc.)
  • Relevant, practical application of survey design methods
  • Advanced analytical techniques (data/text mining, sentiment analysis, machine learning, etc.)
