About this role

As an advisor, you will bring Gartner's research, best practices, and tools to life across a broad range of world class clients. It's the job of an advisor to increase client engagement and ensure each client is applying Gartner's resources to their work. An advisor will ask insightful questions to diagnose the causes of client challenges and recommend the best course of action. The advisor might also suggest a different approach or talk the client through a best practice from a different industry that could work within their business context.

We are seeking an Advisory Specialist for Gartner's HR practice to help clients implement these services and manage the relationship on an ongoing basis. This individual will be responsible for client acquisition, including introductions to our services, guiding clients through the implementation and launch process, as well as ongoing client management, including results interpretation and action planning and diagnostic maintenance. This individual will be involved in supporting additional activities that include but are not limited to: brand management and competitive analysis, product suite enhancement and development, and contributing to research through sharing voice of the client. The Diagnostics Team manages several services and products which have become integral components of the world’s leading organizations. These diagnostics help organizations improve performance, the employee experience, and decrease costs.

What you’ll do

  • Product Pipeline Management (Including Acquisition Efforts): Responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of members interested in product implementation: Effectively convey the value proposition of the tools during introductory calls and use consultative skills to work with clients on how best to utilize our tools to support their objectives.

  • Client Implementation Management: Specialists will support clients throughout the product implementation cycle and will coordinate with internal stakeholders across Gartner to deliver individual organization surveys and results.

  • Product Development and Strategy: Through pitch, implementation, and results conversations, as well as feedback interviews and other sources, the Specialist will develop a robust sense of customer voice, allowing him or her to assist the product management and development teams in developing and prioritizing an ongoing slate of product enhancements.

  • Process Development and Improvement: As part of managing individual tools, this individual will continually look for ways to enhance processes and improve the operational efficiency across the acquisition of clients and implementation of the product.

What you’ll need 

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 0-2 years relevant business or customer service experience

  • Strong written and verbal interaction and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions; active listening

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality material

  • Ability to aggregate and distill large amounts of information
