How You Will Make an Impact at Gartner:
Learn and execute Gartner's proven methodology for conducting world-class research that helps identify best practice solutions to many of today's biggest business challenges.
Manage key research deliverables, including but not limited to: presentations and webinars, white papers, case studies, guidebooks, templates, round-table discussions, or custom, in-bound research requests.
Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership and help shape the strategy of the team by identifying and driving innovations in line with the goals of the Human Resources team and Gartner. Serve as a key contributor in team strategic planning sessions and own the outcomes of assigned strategic initiatives.
Partner with internal stakeholders to set compelling agendas for in-person and virtual client meetings that will drive valuable feedback to shape Gartner’s research output, while providing exciting and engaging interactions for clients.
Conduct research interviews and in-person meetings with C-level executives and use these interactions to drive research deliverables and inform research colleagues of key insights shaping the landscape.
Stay abreast of key trends affecting HR and the companies/advisory board members that make up the HR Executive Networks; use this knowledge to drive timely and relevant product plans for the boards.
Ensure diversity of perspectives on the boards by targeting senior executives with the right role/scope, known brands, and thought leadership to participate; oversee recruitment efforts, including conducting introductory calls for potential new members and encouraging them to attend meetings and other key interactions.
Bachelor's degree; Social Science background preferred
5+ years of work experience in academic or applied research
Experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative data
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Must be willing to work out of Arlington, VA
Master's degree; Social Science background preferred
Experience in a client-facing role
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience conducting primary and secondary research, including research interviews
